Finalmente ci siamo!
Mancano solo due settimane all’inizio del resto della nostra vita!
Il 26 Giugno sta arrivando in fretta e ormai è tutto pronto.. o quasi 🙂 Mi sembra ieri che abbiamo iniziato a cercare la location dove celebrare il nostro matrimonio, impresa non così facile.. dovevamo trovare un posto sulla spiaggia in cui fare la cerimonia, il ricevimento e che non ci facessero spegnere la musica a mezzanotte! Il ristorante MOI è stato quindi la nostra scelta che soddisfa ogni nostra richiesta, grazie anche e soprattutto all’aiuto del nostro instancabile wedding planner Gerry! Credetemi organizzare un matrimonio a 400km di distanza non è cosa facile e se non avessimo avuto lui per la gestione della location e degli hotel avremmo avuto dei grossi problemi..
Quando abbiamo iniziato la ricerca avevo bene in mente l’immagine di come sarebbe dovuto essere il giorno più speciale della nostra vita, e posso dire che, almeno sulla carta, sono riuscita a realizzare ogni nostro (mio 🙂 ) desiderio, dandogli quel sapore un po’ vintage che ci piace tanto! Ogni più piccolo dettaglio è stato scelto, creato o trovato da noi.. passando pomeriggi e serate a dipingere, a fare fiocchi, a imbustare, a cercare su internet e a decidere cosa avere quel giorno, dai colori da utilizzare ai fiori, i segna posto e i segna tavolo, dalle partecipazioni al tableau mariage, fino al più piccolo cadeaux per i nostri ospiti..
Qui vi mostrerò alcune delle foto che mi hanno ispirata per la realizzazione della cerimonia… ovviamente non vedrete nulla di specifico.. non vorrete mica rovinarvi la sorpresa?!

Only two more weeks until the beginning of the rest of our lives!
June 26 is coming quickly and now everything is almost ready 🙂 It seems only yesterday that we started looking for a location to celebrate our marriage, it wasn’t so easy.. we had to find a place on the beach where do the ceremony, dinner and where we didn’t turn off the music at midnight! MOI restaurant was then our choice that satisfies all our requests, also thanks to our tireless wedding planner Gerry! Believe me arrange a wedding 400 km away is not easy and if we hadn’t had him to manage the location and hotels, we would have had big problems..
When we started I had in mind the image of how it would have been the most special day of our lives, and I can say that, on paper at least, I was able to realize all our (my :)) desire, giving it a vintage touch that we like so much! Every little detail has been chosen, created or found by us .. passing afternoons and evenings to paint, to make bows, to be wrapped, searching on the internet and decide what to have that day, from the colors to be used up to the flowers, the marks place and the marks table, from investments to the tableau mariage, until the smallest gifts for our guests..
Here I will show you some of the photos that inspired me for the realization of the ceremony … of course you will not see anything specific.. Don’t you really want to ruin the surprise, don’t you?!?!

Il 2015 è iniziato con il botto!
Il 1° Gennaio abbiamo preso un aereo direzione Grande Mela!
Abbiamo aspettato per più di 6 mesi questo viaggio e finalmente è arrivato il momento di preparare le valige e partire!
Sognavo di andare a New York da molto molto tempo.. e finalmente i miei desideri si sono avverati e le mie aspettative non sono state smontate come spesso accade quando si desidera talmente tanto una cosa.. Già la visuale dall’aereo mi aveva conquistata.. tutte quelle luci e quel reticolo perfetto mi hanno fatto sognare ad occhi aperti.. ma non sapevo ancora cosa mi sarebbe aspetto una volta atterrati…
Dopo aver fatto tutti i controlli del caso e preso il nostro taxy, siamo finalmente arrivati all’hotel Ameritania at Time Square, proprio a due passi dall’omonima piazza sempre illuminata a giorno anche in piena notte! Anche se eravamo parecchio stanchi dal viaggio e soprattutto dal fuso orario, abbiamo deciso di non sprecare neanche un minuto di questa vacanza! Siamo andati subito a Time Square a riempirci gli occhi di meraviglia per tutte quelle luci.. si respirava ancora quella gioia per l’inizio del nuovo anno della sera precedente.. con i coriandoli ancora a terra che si alzavano e danzavano in aria ad ogni folata di vento..
Ma non vi racconterò a parole la mia vacanza.. lascerò che parlino per me le mie foto.. E spero che vi lascino quel pizzico di meraviglia che i miei occhi hanno visto e catturato.. e che porterò per sempre nel mio cuore!
2015 started with a bang!
On the 1st Jan. we took a plane towards the Big Apple!
We waited for more than six months this trip and finally it’s time to pack our bags and go!
I dreamed of going to New York for a long long time.. and finally my wishes have come true and my expectations were not removed as often happens when you want something so much.. Already the view from the plane I had conquered me.. all those lights and the perfect lattice made me daydreaming.. but I didn’t know what I would look once landed..
After making all the necessary controls and took our taxy, we finally arrived at the Ameritania Hotel at Time Square, just a few steps from Time Square always bright as day even at night! Even irf we were a lot tired from the trip, and especially from the time zone, we decided to not waste even a minute of our vacation! We went immediately to Time Square to fill the eyes of wonder for all those lights.. we still breathing that joy for the start of the new year of the previous night.. with confetti still on the ground that they got up and danced in the air at each gust of wind..

Quando mi ritrovo da Sofia Vintage mi sento sempre come una bambina in un negozio di caramelle! Ed è stato così anche questa volta..
Per la nostra “merenda vintage”, oltre ad un fantastico banchetto di torte, caramelle e leccornie, è stato allestito un corner in cui ognuna di noi poteva farsi fare un restyling in perfetto stile vintage dalla bravissima Alessia Bee! L’acconciatura scelta per me era d’ispirazione anni ’30 con una bombatura sul retro di classica ispirazione anni ’40.. stupendi! Sembravo quasi una bambolina!
Inoltre abbiamo potuto provare gli abiti e gli accessori della nuova selezione invernale di Roberta, e devo dire che mi sono completamente innamorata dell’abito lungo in pizzo nero.. un abito elegante e sofisticato ma con un tocco sexy che rende speciale l’abito!
Sofia Vintage, come già “dichiarato”, è un luogo magico nel quale si ritrova sempre quell’atmosfera e quell’allure di altri tempi..
Everytime I go to Sofia Vintage I always feel like a little girl in a candy shop!
For our “vintage snak”, in addition to the great banquet of cakes, candies and delicacies, was set up a corner in which each of us could have received a makeover in vintage style by the talented Alessia Bee! The hairstyle choice for me was inspired 30s with a bulge at the back of the classic 40’s style .. beautiful! I seemed almost a little doll!
Also we could try on clothes and accessories of the new selection for winter made by Roberta, and I must say that I completely fell in love with the long dress in black lace .. a stylish and sophisticated dress but with a sexy touch that makes it special!
Sofia Vintage, as already said, is a magical place where you can always find the atmosphere and the allure of the past ..

Le giornate erano ancora stupende e il freddo non aveva ancora raggiunto il mare, bastavano ancora solo degli shorts e un maglioncino leggero.. tutto l’opposto di ora, che se non sono coperta da testa a piedi non sono contenta.. essendo molto freddolosa sono un’amante dello stile a cipolla durante l’inverno per poter sopravvivere 🙂
La ricerca della location per il matrimonio era solo all’inizio.. e non sapevamo ancora a cosa andavamo incontro…

The days were still beautiful and cold weather had not yet reached the sea, a pair of shorts and a cotton sweatshirt were enough… as opposed to now! If I’m not cover from head to toe I’m not happy.. I don’t love cold so I’m a lover of “onion style” during winter time, in order to survive 🙂
The research of the location for the wedding was just at the beginning .. and still did not know what to expect …
Un gioiellino vintage nel cuore di como.
Una location davvero speciale e suggestiva per ospitare questo vintage store, dall’idea di Roberta Ciceri (proprietaria di Sofia Vintage) che è riuscita a ricreare proprio nel centro storico della caratteristica città di Como un negozio dal sapore tutto retrò. Non sono solo gli abiti di prima scelta provenienti dall’America a rievocare quegli anni, ma anche la struttura del negozio stesso, con archi, volte e muri scrostati che ci mostrano proprio il passare degli anni. Ovviamente anche l’arredamento è tutto in stile vintage, per trasportare completamente gli ospiti in un mondo parallelo, come se il tempo li non fosse mai trascorso.
Un evento inaugurale creato ad hoc dal team di News-Eventicomo che è riuscito a farci vivere questa esperienza davvero con tutti i sensi…

A very special and charming location to host this vintage store, from the idea of Roberta Ciceri (owner of Sofia Vintage) who has managed to recreate in the historic center of the quaint town of Como a store with retro flavor. Are not only clothes of first choice from America that recall those years, but also the structure of the store itself, with arches, vaults and peeling walls that show us just the passing of the years. Obviously the furniture is all in vintage style, to transport guests into a parallel world as if time had never passed.
An inaugural event created ad hoc by News-Eventicomo crew who make us live this experience really with all the senses …

E tanta voglia di fare festa nella classica maniere degli anni ’50
Tra live, palchi su cui ballare, stand di abiti e accessori vintage, macchine d’epoca, roulotte in cui farsi tatuare e classico cibo americano dal 2 al 10 agosto si è svolto il Summer Jamboree. Senigallia si è vestita di tutto punto per l’occasione, in ogni angolo si respirava l’atmosfera di quei bellissimi anni.
La cosa più straordinaria è che ogni persona era vestita a tema, passando dalle Pin-up alle signorine Bon-ton, dai marinai agli ufficiali di marina; nell’aria riecheggiava il ritmo del rock’n’roll e del boogie-woogie tipici di quegli anni. Anche noi abbiamo tentato di vestirci a tema con quello che più si avvicinava, del nostro guardaroba vacanziero, a quegli anni. E per la grande legge che nella moda tutto ritorna, ho trovato in valigia un vestitino di pizzo con colletto che si stringe in vita e dalla gonna vagamente larga, che sembrava perfetto per l’occasione! Certo per i ragazzi era sicuramente più facile: jeans arrotolati, maglietta bianca, Superga bianche e bretelle e il gioco era fatto!

Among live, stage where you can dance, stands of vintage clothing and accessories, vintage cars, caravans where having a tattoo and classic American food, from the 2nd to 10th of August took place the Summer Jamboree. Senigallia was all dressed up for the occasion, in every corner you could breath the atmosphere of those beautiful years.
The most amazing thing is that each person was dressed in theme, going from Pin-up to the Miss Bon-ton, from sailors to navy officers; the air reverberated with the rhythm of rock and roll and boogie-woogie typical of those years. We also tried to find something in our holiday wardrobe that approached at those years. And to the great law that everything comes back in fashion, I found in my suitcase a lace dress that tightens at the waist and with a slightly wide skirt, which seemed perfect for the occasion! Of course, for boys was definitely easier: jeans rolled up, white shirt, braces and white Superga and the game was done!
Mancano poco più di due settimane alle meritate vacanze, ma noi iniziamo a goderci un po il mare con qualche week-end in Riviera, si il mare non è dei migliori ma almeno stacchiamo la spina per due giorni, dimenticando il ritmo frenetico della città.
Per il week-end i tacchi sono banditi! Spostandoci in moto non sono proprio pratici… quindi anche questo sabato sono partita solo con All Star ed Espadrilles e, arrivato il momento della cena, ho dovuto compiere questa ardua scelta che ovviamente è ricaduta sulle Converse che si abbinavano perfettamente al colore della zip a vista della gonna, per un look che combina l’eleganza e la praticità per una serata alla rocca di Gradara.
There are less than two weeks to the deserved holiday, but we start to enjoy the sea with some weekend at the Riviera Romagnola, the sea is not the best but at least we pull the plug for two days, forgetting the frenetic pace of the city.
For the weekend heels are banned! We move on motorbike and they are not really practical… so also this Saturday I packed only All Star and Espadrilles and at dinner time, I had to make this difficult choice that obviously fell on Converse that matched perfectly with the color of the exposed zip of the skirt for a look that combines elegance and practicality for an evening at the fortress of Gradara.
Una giornata di sole non troppo accecante.
La solita spiaggia e la solita voglia di passeggiare a piedi scalzi sulla sabbia.
E ascoltare i propri pensieri accompagnati dal ritmo del mare.
Una felpa dai colori sgargianti comprata proprio qualche giorno prima a Riccione e che sembrava perfetta per la giornata, e ovviamente le mie immancabili All Star.. per me sono un must durante l’estate!

In concomitanza con il Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2014, The Room in collaborazione con Deuda Vintage & Events, Nerospinto e News Eventi Como Relazioni Pubbliche ha ideato un evento che incontra fashion, design e arte in questo spazio urbano dalle mille potenzialità. The Room, un locale ricavato da una ex fabbrica dotato di un piccolo giardino interno e con un versatilità unica nel suo genere, per poter passare facilmente da locale dedicato ad aperitivi, pranzi e cene fino ad essere completamente destrutturato per ospitare un evento come quello a cui abbiamo partecipato sabato 12 aprile.
Diversi i brand presenti tutti con il filo conduttore del vintage e del riciclo creativo!
Per Space to wear ft. 20twenty BLOGGER, Sara ci ha condotte alla scoperta di ogni singolo brand illustrandoci le peculiarità di ciascuno; abbiamo potuto intervistare i designer e cosa più bella abbiamo potuto provare ciò che hanno creato, improvvisando una mini sfilata sulla grande scala che la fa da padrona su tutto il locale!

La felicità.
La felicità è prendere un treno il sabato mattina all’alba dopo una settima di lavoro in cui prendi il treno all’alba.
La felicità è arrivare al mare e trovare una giornata stupenda.
La felicità è pranzare in riva al mare e fare una lunga passeggiata sulla spiaggia, quella stessa spiaggia che sembra totalmente diversa da quella che è in estate.
La felicità è tirare fuori dall’armadio le Converse e sentire che la primavera è arrivata (quasi).
La felicità è sentire la sabbia sotto i piedi e abbandonarsi a quella sensazione di benessere e tranquillità.
La felicità è comprare uno zucchero filato che è più grande di te e ritornare un po’ bambina.

Happiness is to take a train on Saturday morning at dawn after a week of work in which you take a train at dawn.
